Sometimes .... Not even titans...

There are times when I just want to turn off life and go to bed...

Somewhere in Oregon, a supremacist killed two and injured one men that were defending two women who were attacked and abused by this guy.

Somewhere else in Asia, there is a curfew and when a family was caught by the curfew because the guards did not speed up the paperwork enough, they were executed as curfew breakers.

Wild animals are still tortured and hunted because humans can.

Domesticated animals are tortured, mutilated and assassinated because humans can.

The other day someone from Unicef asked me to pitch in to help some child somewhere in the world.  He/she is hungry and is a child from irresponsible parents who should know better than to breed in a seriously tight financial environment.  At the same time, someone was being given a panflet, she made a ball out of it and tossed it on the street as she walked away; I lifted my eyes and saw the almost dried out and dead trees in the street.

A very dear friend of mine says that the earth is a school and that we should not worry about asteroids hitting it and killing earth because it is a school.  I do agree.  I think that what will happen is that eventually humans will kill humans enough to maime the population and bring it back to a respectable level.

I saw a naked man walk around the Florida airport without any intervention from the police while there are still reports of policemen shooting children and their pets because "they feared for their life" when the dogs were lying on the ground besides their human children and behind walled gardens....

Again, I said to the Unicef guy that I am not interested in helping humanity.  I do not care about humans, at least not today.  I believe that there is a God watching, I believe that those who are God's children always do the right thing, and do right BY ALL SPECIES, not only human.

I believe that those humans are the most quiet ones.  I believe that they do not care about recognition or making a splash on anyone's life.  I believe that all others do.  That they love to be shared on social media to cause a rukus and to give grief to those of us who have come to bear witness.

If you asked me today, I'd say that Humanity is not worth saving

IMAGINARY FRIENDS

The day before last I was talking to a dear friend of mine.  He was talking about how he does not believe in God or in any religion for that matter.

Yet, he's an avid bike rider and as such, he's exposed to many perils, amongst them are poor drivers and people who think that are good drivers when in reality they not only are not good drivers but have the nerve to be distracted by phones, whatsappo and whatnots.

So, as he was riding his bike, his path was cut by a woman who was busy reading the latest TMZ story and cut off in front of him without giving him time to slow down or halt.  Naturally, his bike slid and he crashed against her, on a high traffic road.

He came close to being run over by passing vehicles, as such things happen.  And he acknowledges that his first and most important thought was a moment-spoken, strong prayer:  "please, God, don't let me die".

I did not say a word.  I did not laugh nor did I giggle.

But I find it amusing.  Humans with all of our smartness and technology.  The endless battles between science and religion seems to be pushing the spirituality that is inherent to us all further and further into the darkest corners of mankind.

It would seem that we are bound to vanish faith as we progress and get out of this "technological puberty",,,yet the need to reach out and know, without a doubt that we are not alone, that we are precious, and that there is a consequence to all the actions we carry out remains.

But then, what happens with those who seek to mingle with the spiritual?  Are they highly spiritual themselves?

Talking to Angels

Talking to Angels is one of the activities that gave the biggest boom to the New Age Movement.  for many it has become a quest that has been ongoing as they need something tangible to hold on to before they are able to state that they have been successful at talking to them.

However, through many years of practicing and doing -almost- all the stuff people say or claim that has worked for them; there are some things that I have come to see that they are absolute truths:

* You can always hear angels if you pay attention to the wind.  There are words hidden in it that can be heard if you pay real attention.
* Angels come and go,  they might show up in the likes of a stranger that approaches you, helps you or encourages you or even comforts you and then suddenly, as you turn around, vanish!
* Once you start communicating with the angels, even if you do not believe you have been successful at that, you will be able to seek their guidance and orientation.  You can even ask them to deliver proof or evidence of what they are helping you with!

The concept of wings is something that humans have created to be able to explain the idea of energy being cast out of the figure of what they believe are angels.  As such, it is important that you understand that when a book says: "open your wings" it is not to be done or taken literally.  It means that you need to send or cast energy out of your body.

God Has Always Been There

One of the hardest things to see today is Gos Infinite Mercy in an event such as the crash of the German plane just a few days ago.

It is a terrible event that could have been avoided, that's true and it was a multiple of small "right" or "considerate" decisions what ultimately caused it to crash... But God wasn't only in the free will that every human worked when making those decisions...

His Presence was in the immediate aftermath, when ever single victim ceased to be in this plain.  When they were list and angry and afraid...

For the family of the victims, His Presence is in that small unwanted comfort that each human doesn't want to recognize.  When such a tragedy happens  the knowledge given by self awareness and reinforced by faith, that they are With God and In God .

I pray that these families as well as the victims themselves find the leave that only the Grace of God can provide.

God Knows What He's Doing...

One of the hardest things to do is to trust.

We do not trust our senses, we are taught that they lie.  We do not trust our judgement as we often end up "marrying the wrong person".  We do not trust those who we love as many seek and check the drawers and personal emails of their significant others searching for that evidence of infidelity.
We do not trust our religious leaders as we know they are human and have flaws.

And the list goes on and on...  and the most important mis-trust is the lack of trust in God.  Regardless of how we conceive He is, or whatever His Name to us might be, we do not trust Him.

But why is that?  Because most of the time we believe that we know better.  We know what has to be done to benefit US directly, and so it should be done in that specific way... We do not care about the other people, countries or species... We do not trust that they are worth it.

As a society we have many philosophical treaties that tell us that we should trust God because He is a Father, because He knows best and so on.  And still we fail to rely on Him as a Supreme being and we are still vehemently adhered to the fact that We KNOW how to do things and when to do them.

Still, probably the best example of His Wisdom is the fact that we do not know for sure where will we reincarnate, if everyone does and when would this happen.  IF we knew for sure that we DO reincarnate, it is indeed plausible that the powers that rule the world (all the political sphere) would tend to be more fair and just as they do not know where they will reincarnate and they would like to experience the same comforts that they have stolen, defrauded and mishandled for during their life time.

That would, indeed render a safer, more just world with caring and a balance policy... BUT if we knew that we would reincarnate for sure, the chances are that we would KNOW or at least have an educated guess as to where, or when and that would give the politicians a rather safe target to benefit over the rest of the world.  In addition, it would be easier for them to control (and for any other criminal too) to control who would be born and when...

Nostradamus was off or what?

During the 80's there was a vast number of television channels and even some printing companies that took pleasure in re-doing (over and over again!!) the prophecies of Nostradamus...  I remember one that said that in the last days man would eat man (and my grandmother and my father started a deep conversation as if it would be political or literal)

Time has passed (yeah, no shit!) and we have seen several things that have brought Nostradamus to a front space in our bookshelves...  The 9/11 attack, the Saddam Hussein murder/execution, the infamous Bush administrations, I mean, not to offend anyone but I am still waiting for the evidence of weapons of mass destruction and I am pretty sure that the thousands that die as a consequence of that "gap" (to put it mildly) would like to see the evidence too.

History repeats itself, that is no secret and is something known far and wide.  In Victorian times people used to have "memento mori" pictures  taken of their loved ones, these are now known as "postmortem photographs" this with the idea of preserving the last image of the one that they will be burying shortly.  While this is understandable one should consider if this is an morbid thing or something done from love.

After all, the last picture will not be something that you could see move (Harry Potter's world is fictitious, by the way), so the image will only cause the pain of departure to linger in one's mind.  IMHO it would be far better to rely on memory and family pictures to keep the loved one "alive" (so to speak, said Dr. Frankenstein)...

Thing is that this Victorian tradition has rooted itself again in modern day society.  Apparently one of the most important sources are military funerals (duh!) where the families of the fallen heroes just can't cope with their losses.

And I can't help myself but see some sort of irony.  The military families seek to preserve those who already left and in other parts of the USA, children are being murdered by their care givers...

To round up this idea... I do not think that Nostradamus was referring to man eating man in either the political or the literal sense... If we are to apply that statement to modern day society I would say that it is a rhetorical eating where the society that in Nostradamus' time was focused on protecting each other and presenting a common face, has vanished and left a society where the individual looks for him or herself without any recognition or care if the youngest pay the price.

Of course, it could also be that Nostradamus was simply way off!
